About Bill Rock:

Meet Bill Rock Bill Rock has been involved with production since he began broadcasting in 1965. With a BA in communications (1969) from Seton Hall University. In 1998 he was inducted into the Seton Hall WSOU Hall of Fame. Bill worked throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Connecticut in radio. His experience includes on-air talent, program director, production manager, operations manager, and vice-president of programming including work in major markets like Boston, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and New York. As vice president of Insilco Broadcasting, Bill was responsible for the programming of radio stations in Miami, New Orleans, Oklahoma and Connecticut.

On a national scale Bill hosted a syndicated Motown Oldies program for Dick Clark's radio network, United Stations called Motor City Beat. He also hosted nationally syndicated radio programs for Westwood One, and Unistar radio, not to mention a comedy series he has voiced since 1988 for Winstar Radio Services, formally Pro-Media, SJS, and SFX.

Bill Rock's best known radio work was in New York. In 1974 he joined WNBC as production manager, air personality and assistant Program Director working with personalities like Don Imus And Cousin Bruce Morrow. Later Bill joined WYNY and here over a 15 year period he developed and hosted programs like the “Saturday Night Country Club.” It was also one of the higher rated shows on Saturday night in New York.

It was in 1981 that Bill Rock Productions, Inc. was established. Beginning as a producer of local radio commercials, it wasn't long before Bill Rock Productions was producing sound tracks for multi-image presentations. This led to Bill Rock producing complete multi-image projects and eventually video presentations. It was in 1984 that Bill Rock Productions produced its first television show,   “Jeff Keith's Run Across America,” winner of a silver medal from the International Television and Film Festival. That TV program was followed by another called   “Airshow”, about sport aviation which aired on ESPN. Bill not only produced but co-hosted it with Leo Loudenslager, who was a seven time international aerobatics champion. The program featured actor Cliff Robertson, the Navy's Blue Angels, and astronaut Wally Schirra. The third full length television program produced by Bill Rock Productions was called   “Big City Country” featuring Tanya Tucker, Eddie Rabbit, Mark Colie, Suzy Boggus, Hank Williams Jr. Aaron Tippin, Ronnie Milsap and a host of other country performers. It was shot in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pittsburgh and Nashville.

Bill Rock Productions has produced radio and television commercials and programs as well as non-broadcast video presentations for fortune 500 companies (such as United Technologies), government (i.e. DOT) politicians (including Joe Lieberman), human service organizations (like United Way), municipal and civic organizations.

Today Bill Rock's voice can be heard around the world over the NBC Television Networks, MS-NBC and CNBC as the promotional voice of “NBC Nightly News”, “Meet the Press” and as announcer for “Weekend Magazine” on MS-NBC. Bill's voice has been heard on promos for “Dateline”, “Today”, and numerous MS-NBC and CNBC shows. His voice is heard on NBC Europe/Asia, on commercial billboards for prime time NBC Shows like “Friends” & “Law and Order” and even on “Saturday Night Live.” He is also the voice of News 12 New Jersey, the NBC/Radio Shack Network and occasionally in-flight on United Airlines.

Bill Rock Productions has won dozens of awards including the MacEachern, Mercury, Telly, Pinacle and Communicator awards spanning the last 20 years. He is listed in Who's Who in Entertainment, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World and a charter listing in Who's Who in Media and Communications.
